Temporary Closure of
Quantock Road and Stowey Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Quantock Road - from the outside property number 80 Quantock Road to outside property number 44 Quantock Road; and Stowey Road - from the junction with Quantock Road, westwards for a distance of 25 metres. A total distance of 185 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement, duct and jointing works.
The Order becomes effective on 24th July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 28th July 2025 and last until 1st August 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 5 days. Please visit
