TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC143540702: The City of Manchester (Ridgefield & South King Street, Deansgate Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic & No Waiting No Loading) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Ridgefield from King Street to King Street South and on South King Street from Bow Street to Deansgate.
The alternative routes for traffic within the bollard restricted area will be to exit via the junction with King Street & Cross Street. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate roof replacement works at 8 King Street.

The order shall come into operation on 11th June 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
Kevin Gillham. Head of Network Management, Neighbourhood Directorate, Town Hall, Manchester, M60 2LA. Dated: 25th July 2025.
