Esh Winning, Temporary Road Closure Due To Resurfacing Works
What is happening?

(Ridding Road and Cemetery Road, Esh Winning) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025
The Council on 18/7/2025 made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on the following lengths of road. A 435 metre length of Ridding Road between its junctions with Newhouse Road and Pinetree, affecting the junctions with West View, Ridding Court, Arbourcourt Avenue, Birch Place and Cemetery Road and a 285 metre length of Ridding Road, between its junctions with Station Road and Ridding Road and affecting the junctions with Camarthen Mews and College View, Esh Winning to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken.
An alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic from the north eastern side of the closure, from B6302 Newhouse Road south and turning south west onto C18a Station Road, to the south western side of the closure and vice versa.
The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on Monday 28/7/2025 and are anticipated to be completed in 12 days, between 7am–7pm. On occasions, alternative dates for the closure may be necessary and these will be signed on site accordingly.
