Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2023

Notice of Making an Order
The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable a council contractor on behalf of The London Borough of Bexley to undertake highway improvement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
Prohibition of traffic on Royal Road from the junction of Bexley Lane to the side of 1 Royal Road, Sidcup
Prohibition of traffic from 5 to 13 Royal Road, Sidcup
Prohibition of traffic on Royal Road from the junction with Onslow Road to the junction with Princes Close
Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition as follows:
Royal Road, Sidcup from the junction of Bexley Lane to the side of 1 Royal Road, Sidcup (both sides of the carriageway).
Royal Road, Sidcup from 5 to 13 (both sides of the carriageway)
Royal Road, Sidcup from the junction with Onslow Road to the junction with Princes Close (both sides of the carriageway).
The Order will come into effect on 24 July 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 56 days.
Whilst the works are in progress, alternative routes will be provided as follows:
For closure from junction with Bexley Lane to the side of 1 Royal Road: Bexley Lane, Longmead Drive, Onslow Drive, Harefield Road, Maylands Drive and reverse.
For closure from 5 to 13 Royal Road and closure from junction of Onslow Road to junction with Princes Close: Onslow Drive, Harefield Road, Maylands Drive and reverse.
Localised diversion signs will be signposted as and when required.
Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
Prohibition of traffic in Sheldon Road, Bexleyheath, from the junction with Belvedere Road to the junction with Hudson Road, Bexleyheath
Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Sheldon Road, Bexleyheath – entire road, both sides of the carriageway.
Restrictions to be removed when not required.
The Order will come into effect on 25 July 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.
Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:
Belvedere Road, Long Lane, Hudson Road, and reverse
Hudson Road, Fairfield Road, Belvedere Road, and reverse.
Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities Ltd on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains their Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
Prohibition of traffic in Northumberland Avenue from No. 211 to the junction with Cumberland Avenue, Welling
Prohibition of traffic in Millbrook Avenue at the junction with Northumberland Avenue, Welling 50 metres into the junction
Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Northumberland Avenue from No. 211 to the junction with Cumberland Avenue, Welling, both sides of the carriageway
Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Millbrook Avenue at the junction with Northumberland Avenue, Welling 50 metres into the junction both sides of the carriageway.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable gas mains replacement works by JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks the effects of which will be the introduction of:
Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Shakespeare Road from 50 metres in up to and including the junction with Pickford Lane, Bexleyheath
Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Orchard Close from 50 meters in up to and including the junction with Pickford Lane, Bexleyheath
Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Bowford Avenue from 50 meters in up to and including the junction with Pickford Lane, Bexleyheath
The Order will come into effect on 24 July 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 6 weeks.

Orchard Close will be maintained open for residents and emergency vehicles
Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

Notice of Making an Order
The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement work, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
Prohibition of traffic on Cambria Close, Sidcup, entire length
Prohibition of traffic on Ellison Road, Sidcup, entire length
Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition Cambria Close junction with Ellison Road to 60m into the junction, both sides of the carriageway
Waiting restrictions and Loading prohibition on Ellison Road, the entire length both sides of the carriageway
Restrictions will be removed when not required. Regarding Cambria Close access to be maintained for emergency vehicles, businesses, and residents at all times.
The Order will come into effect on 24 July 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.
Whilst the works are in progress, alternative routes will be provided via:
Ellison Road
Old Farm Avenue, Cradley Road, Avery Hill Road, Halfway Street, and reverse
Cambria Road
Access to be maintained for emergency vehicles, businesses, and residents at all times.
Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
