Springfield, North Shields - Temporary Restriction of Traffic for Gas Mains Replacement
What is happening?
THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF NORTH TYNESIDE
SPRINGFIELD, NORTH SHIELDS (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on the footpaths at Springfield.
There is no alternative route however access to properties to be given where possible.
The temporary Order is required for gas mains replacement and will come into force on 4 August 2025 lasting until 25 August 2025
