Brignall Gardens - Prohibition All Vehicular Traffic For Works

What is happening?

CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
(BRIGNALL GARDENS)TEMPORARY TRAFFICREGULATION ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 17 July2025 the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on Brignall Gardens, between its junctions with A186 West Road and Countess Drive.

2. The alternative route for traffic will be signed onsite as required.

3. The order is required to allow works to be carried out on or near the highway.

4. Exemptions will be provided for vehicles engaged in the said works.

5. The Order will come into operation on 11August 2025 and will continue, as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, up to 13August 2025 or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
