Crowngreen Road - 20MPH Speed Limit
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford has made the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
CITY OF SALFORD (BARTON LANE AND CROWNGREEN ROAD, BARTON AND WINTON) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025
The effect of the Order will be to introduce - No Waiting at Any Time on: Barton Lane: SE side, from a point 10m SW of the SW extended kerb line of Crowngreen Rd, in a NE direction to a point 30m SW of the SW extended kerb line of Broadman St. Crowngreen Road: Both sides, from the SE kerbline of Barton Ln, SE for 10m.
CITY OF SALFORD (CROWNGREEN ROAD, BARTON AND WINTON) SALFORD 20MPH ORDER 2025 The Order shall introduce a 20MPH Speed limit - Crowngreen Road: for its entire length. The Order was made on 15th July 2025 and will come into effect on 28th July 2025.
A copy of the Order and plan are available for inspection at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks from 15th July 2025 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
