ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Wallingford, St George Road

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 28 July 2025

Coming into force: 4 August 2025

This Order is being introduced because of carriageway repairs which are anticipated to take 4 weeks to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in that section of St George Road between St Georges Green and Clapcot Way. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. Traffic will be diverted via St George Road – Station Road – St Nichola’s Road – Wilding Road – St George Road and vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T15935/MR)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Wheatley, Keydale Road, OX33 1NS

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 28 July 2025

Coming into force: 4 August 2025

This Order is being introduced because of sewer repairs which are anticipated to take 3 weeks to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in that section of Keydale Road outside No.6. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. Traffic will be diverted via Keydale Rd – Kelly’s Rd – Acremead Rd – Old Rd and vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T15883/MR)

Harpsden, Harpsden Way

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 28 July 2025

Coming into force: 4 August 2025

This Order is being introduced because of drainage improvement works and resurfacing which are anticipated to take 4 weeks to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in that section of Harpsden Way between the junctions with Gillotts Lane and Chalk Hill. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. Traffic will be diverted via Gillotts Lane – B481 – Blounts Court Road – Perseverance Hill – Chalk Hill – Sheephouse Lane – A4155 – Greys Road and vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T15932/MR)
