NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to carry out gas main replacement works to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Jubilee Way, Pontefract. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Jubilee Way.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Front Street, Stuart Road,
Headlands Lane, Cockpit Lane, Northgate, North Baileygate, Tanners Row, South Baileygate, Southgate & vice versa. PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 28th July 2025 at 20.00 hours to 29th July 2025 at 06.00 hours and again on 6th August 2025 at 20.00 hours to 7th August 2025 at 06.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to replace manhole frame & cover to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Springfield Avenue, Knottingley for approximately 25 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Springfield Avenue.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Barnsley Road, South Elmsall. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Barnsley Road. ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Brookside Street, Centre Street, Ivy Terrace, Whitmoor Street & vice versa.
ORDER TO BE TEMPORARILY REVOKED: Wakefield
(Traffic Regulation) (No. 7) Order 1987 where it relates to the One Way restriction on Brookside Street, Centre Street, Ivy Terrace and Whitmoor Street, South Elmsall. PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 10th August 2025 to 24th August 2025 18.00 hours to 23.59 hours, in operation only when required to allow works to be completed safely across the junctions when Barnsley Road is closed with appropriate signage in place when in operation, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
