Enfield, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984– SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

BRIGADIER HILL EN2 – 4553

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Gas Works

Operational Date and times:

“Anytime” on 28 July 2025 for 4 weeks or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to;

• close this road at its junction with Lancaster Road, northwards for approximately 22 metres; and

• close the footway at its junction with Lancaster Road, northwards for approximately 22 metres.

  Whilst this road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

BULLSMOOR LANE, WINDWARD CLOSE – 4554

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 28 July 2025 for 7 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to

• Bullsmoor Lane – suspend parking from No.111 to the common boundary of No.127/129; and

• Windward Close – suspend parking from the common boundary of Nos. 2/4 to its junction with Bullsmoor Lane EN3

FORE STREET N18 – 4555

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility works

Operational Date and times:

“Between 20:00 hours and 23:00 hours” on 29 July 2025 for 1 night or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on both sides of Fore Street N18 between its junction with Fairfield Road and The A406 North Circular Road N18.

FORE STREET N9 – 4556

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility works

Operational Date and times:

“Between 20:00 hours and 23:00 hours” on 29 July 2025 for 1 night or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit cyclists from entering and proceeding in the northbound cycle lane on Fore Street N9, from a point opposite its junction with Sebastopol Road, to a point in line with the common boundary of Nos. 337/339 Fore Street

GREEN STREET, WESTMOOR ROAD EN3 – 4557

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Water Works

Operational Date and times:

“Between 22:00 hours on 29 July 2025 and 05:00 hours” on 30 July 2025 for 1 night or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to ;

• Green Street – suspend parking between No.s 148 – 182/184; and

• Westmoor Road – suspend parking from the common boundary of No.s 1/3 to its junction with Green Street, on both sides of the carriageway.

The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs.

Access would be maintained only as far as the works allow
