(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 –  Leeds United 2025 Fixtures – Lowfields Road

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (in relation to the holding of football matches at Elland Road), Leeds City Council, as traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District, intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order under Section 1 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along Lowfields Road, Leeds; from its junction with Elland Road up to the overpass with M621, on any day upon which a football match is to take place at Elland Road Stadium, Leeds (provided that such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with a

particular match). Where necessary local diversions will be in operation, signed as appropriate. The Order is intended to come into operation one hour before the scheduled kick-off of each match and continue for approximately one hour from the end of each match Provisional Premier League match days are scheduled to take place on the following dates (including a pre-season friendly) 2,18 & 30 August; 27 September 4 & 25 October; 22 November & 3, 6 & 20 December 2025. For the avoidance of doubt, the Order shall apply to the above fixture dates, (or any alternative re-scheduled match date, together with any League Cup tie to be held at Elland Road this calendar year. 1.   A 30mph Speed Limit on i) A64 York Road (both directions); between

NOTICE IS HEREBY Given that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 81, 84, 85, 87, 89, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, proposes to make the above Order, the effect of which will be: 1. To introduce a 50MPH on Great North Road, Leeds from its junction with the Boot and Shoe Roundabout, to a point 45m north of its junction with Selby Fork Roundabout. 2.
