TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD ORDER 2025

On the 17 July 2025 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order authorises to restrict vehicular access on a section of Springhill Road (from its junction with Kirton Road northbound for a distance of approximately 1.2km or thereby), Neilston, in order to facilitate the safe operation of BT utility works scheduled to be carried from Thursday 4 September to Wednesday 17 September 2025.

The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.

Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.

Alternative route: Kirton Road – Kingston Road – High Street – Main Street – Neilston Road – Kelburn Street – Main Street – Ralston Road – Springhill Road and vice versa.
