NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Waithlands Road from its junction with Kingsway to a point 260 metres in a north westerly direction.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime alongWaithlands Road from its junction with Kingsway to a point 260metres in a north westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate replacement gas mains within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 21st July 2025 until 23:59 on the 27th August 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Kingsway, Moss Bridge Road, Crawford Street, York Street, Channing Street, Grafton Street & vice versa.

(HALIFAX ROAD, ROCHDALE (3)) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the southerly carriageway of Halifax Road from its junction with Dye House Lane to its junction with Albert Royds Street in a south westerly direction only (towards Rochdale Town only).
The Order is required to facilitate the safe installation of contraflow traffic management.
The Order will be operative from 19:00 on the 27th July 2025 until 06:00 on the 28th July 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Halifax Road (A58), Smithy Bridge Road, Milnrow Road (Littleborough), Wildhouse Lane, Kiln Lane, Bridge Street, Rochdale Road, Milnrow Road (Rochdale), Albert Royds Street, Halifax Road (A58) & vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Sparrow Hill from its junction with Vicars Drive for its entire length.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Sparrow Hill from its junction with Vicars Drive for its entire length.
The Order is required to facilitate install new cable within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 26th July 2025 until 23:59 on the 6th August 2025.
There is no alternative route for vehicles.

(HALIFAX ROAD, ROCHDALE (4))
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily suspend the existing 40mph speed limit and temporarily introduce a temporary speed limit that will prohibit any person from driving a vehicle at a speed exceeding 20 mph on Halifax Road, A58, between A664 Albert Royds Street and Wardle Road in both directions.
The Order is required to facilitate new pedestrian signalised crossing facilities and other highway improvement works within this area.
The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 28th July 2025 until 23:59 on the 12th September 2025.

(BUCKLEY LANE, ROCHDALE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Buckley Lane from its junction with A58, Halifax Road for a distance of 58 metres in a north westerly direction.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time along Buckley Lane from its junction with A58, Halifax Road for a distance of 58 metres in a north westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate new pedestrian signalised crossing provision and other highway improvement works within this area.
The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 28th July 2025 until 23:59 on the 31st August 2025.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily;
(i) Suspend (part of) the Borough of Rochdale ((Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Rochdale Township) Order 2008

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles and temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time along:
(i) Rochdale Road – from its junction with Bridge Street and Elizabethan Way for a distance of 20 metres in a north westerly direction.
(ii) Bridge Street – from its junction with Rochdale Road and Elizabethan Way for a distance of 30 metres in an easterly direction.
(iii) Elizabethan Way, A640 – from its junction with Bridge Street and Rochdale Road for a distance of 66 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate safe gas mains replacement works within the footway and carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 28th July 2025 until 23:59 on the 1st September 2025 or before then if the works are completed sooner.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Queensway from its junction with Albion Street in a north easterly direction for a distance of 905 metres
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Queensway from its junction with Albion Street in a north easterly direction for a distance of 905 metres.
The Order is required to facilitate Resurfacing within the carriageway.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Manchester Road from its junction with Trows Lane in a Southerly direction for a distance of 750 metres
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Manchester Road from its junction with Trows Lane in a Southerly direction for a distance of 750 metres.
The Order is required to facilitate resurfacing within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 09:30 hours until 15:30 hours and should take 1 day between the dates of 13th August to the 20th August 2025 weather dependent.

The alternative route for vehicles under 11 metres in length travelling in a Southerly direction will be via Bolton Road, Rochdale Road East, Green Lane,Manchester Road, Middleton Road, Hollin Lane, Rochdale Road (Northerly), Slattocks Roundabout, Rochdale Road.
The alternative route for vehicles over 11 metres in length travelling in a Southerly direction will be via Bolton Road, Rochdale Road East, Green Lane,Manchester Road, Middleton Road, Hollin Lane, Rochdale Road (Southerly), Long Street (Southerly), around the Roundabout, Long Street (Northerly), Rochdale Road (Northerly), Slattocks Roundabout, Rochdale Road.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Manchester Road in both directions from its junction with The Bents to the junction with Drake Street.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Manchester Road in both directions from its junction with The Bents to the junction with Drake Street.
The Order is required to facilitate night time resurfacing works within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 20:00 to 05:00 hours each night from the 4th August 2025 until the 17th August 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via , Edinburgh Way, Queensway, Oldham Road, Fishwick Street, Milnrow Road, Drake Street, Manchester Road & vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
• Wardle Road from its junction with Princess Avenue for a distance of 660 metres in a northerly direction.
• Ramsden Road from its junction with Wardle Road/Lawflat for a distance of 210 metres in a north easterly direction.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along:-
• Wardle Road from its junction with Princess Avenue for a distance of 660 metres in a northerly direction.
• Ramsden Road from its junction with Wardle Road/Lawflat for a distance of 210 metres in a north easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe resurfacing of the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 09:30 hours on the 11th August 2025 until 15:30 hours on the 18th August 2025 and should take 1 day between these dates weather dependent.
