Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through
Traffic Order 2025 – Reeves Way and The Woodlands
Ref: 26-082
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads detailed in the schedule below.

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above roads. The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are detailed in the schedule. The proposed order will come into force on the 28/07/2025 and will continue until the gas main replacement works have been completed or until the 27/07/2026, whichever is the earlier. Traffic Order 2025 – Willow Hall Lane, Thorney, Peterborough

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Willow Hall Lane, Thorney, as lies between Northey Road and Willow Hall Farm. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Pearces Road, Eyebury Road, Crowland Road, A47 and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 29/07/2025 and will continue until the water mains installation works have been completed or until the 28/07/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 29/07/2025 and the 31/07/2025. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Church Lane, Helpston, as lies between Maxey Road and Glinton Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: B1443 Glinton Road, Maxey Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 04/08/2025 and will continue until the water meter exchange works have been completed or until the 03/08/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 04/08/2025 and the 06/08/2025. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Vicarage Farm Road, Fengate, as lies between Newark Road and Storeys Bar Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Storeys Bar Road, Padholme Road East, Newark Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 04/08/2025 and will continue until the trench reinstatement works have been completed or until the 03/08/2026, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Peterborough Road, Eye, northbound only from its junction with Frank Perkins Parkway Roundabout Junction 8, for 30m. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Paston Parkway, A47, A1139 link road between Peterborough Road and Eye Bypass. The proposed order will come into force on the 31/07/0025 and will continue until the telecoms works have been completed or until the 30/07/2026, whichever is the earlier.
