What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(MAIZE LANE, WARFIELD)

(SPEED LIMIT) ORDER NO 2 2025

Bracknell Forest Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 82(2), 84(1) and 84(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 .

Effects of the Order:

The effects of the Order are to introduce the new lengths of speed limits as detailed in Schedules 1 & 2.

Copies of this notice, the draft Order and Plans may be inspected on the ‘Highways Public Notices’ page of the Council’s website www.bracknell-forest.gov.uk.

Objections:

Objections to the proposals, together with the grounds upon which they are made, should be sent in writing to Neil Mathews, Assistant Director – Highways & Transport, Bracknell Forest Council, Time Square, Market Street, Bracknell, Berkshire RG12 1JD or via e-mail highways.transport@bracknell-forest.gov.uk to be received by him no later than the 15th August 2025.

Maize Lane From its junction with Warfield Street southwards for a distance of 90 metres

SCHEDULE 2 – 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE

Bellcroft For its entire length

Bellis Mews For its entire length

Betula Close For its entire length

Bronze Close For its entire length

Buckland Drive For its entire length

Calla Place For its entire length

Chime Close For its entire length

Melody Lane For its entire length

Maize Lane From its junction with Harvest Ride northwards for a distance of 370 metres

All distances are approximate and, where applicable, are taken from the centre of the stated junctions.
