Sandwell Area: Wednesbury, West Bromwich, Oldbury - Temporary Road Closure

SANDWELL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

The Borough Council of Sandwell (Terrace Street, Wednesbury)
(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Terrace Street, which will be closed between the dividing lines of property Nos. 7/8 & 11/12. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 01/08/2025 effective from 28/07/2025 (24hr). Purpose – to facilitate access to install a new supply to an electric vehicle charger by Doocey Group on behalf of National Grid Electricity Distribution.

The Borough Council of Sandwell (Oldbury Road, West Bromwich)
(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Oldbury Road, which will be closed from its junction with Albion Road to north of its junction with Oldbury Road Industrial Estate. Access to any affected frontages will be maintained but only when safety permits. Traffic will be diverted via West Bromwich Street, Fountain Lane, Bromford Lane, Oldbury Ringway, Dudley Road, Dudley Road East, Tipton Road, Sedgely Road East, Dudley Port, Horseley Heath, Tame Road, Sheepwash Lane, Whitehall Road and vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 31/07/2025 effective from 29/07/2025 (24hrs). The Borough Council of Sandwell (Warley Road & Basons Lane, Oldbury)
(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along both Warley Road, which will be closed from the northern boundary of property No.85 to the southern boundary of property No.79 and Basons Lane, which will be closed from the western boundary of property No.68 to the eastern boundary of property No.30. Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. A traffic diversion route will be signed for the Warley Road closure via Londonderry Road, Dog Kennel Lane, Vicarage Road, Barker Street and vice versa. A traffic diversion route will be signed for the Basons Lane closure via Queens Road, Londonderry Road, Dog Kennel Lane and vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 30/07/2025 effective from 28/07/2025 (19:00 - 06:00). The Borough Council of Sandwell (Earl Street, West Bromwich)
(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Earl Street from the gable end of property No.3 and the dividing line of property Nos. 12/14. Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. Traffic will be diverted via Guns Lane, Duke Street and vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 01/08/2025 effective from 28/07/2025 (24hr). Purpose – to facilitate access to install a new water service by Onsite on behalf of South Staffs Water.
