Janesmoor Plain Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Cattle Grid Replacement Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - JANESMOOR PLAIN ROAD, LYNDHURST, NEW FOREST
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Janesmoor Plain Road (Forest Road) between its junction with A31 and continuing to a point 520 metres Northwest on Janesmoor Plain Road (Forest Road).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Roger Penny Way, A31.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Sunday 10th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days and working between the hours 07:00-18:00).
