Bradford Road - Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic
What is happening?
MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order: ORDER NO. MCC144027876: The City of Manchester (Bradford Road, Ancoats & Beswick Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Bradford Road from Cambrian Street to Butler Street. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Varley Street, Oldham Road, Butler Street and Vice Versa.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate survey of the sewers.
It is expected that the works will be in progress from 27th July 2025 to 28th July 2025 between the hours of 23:59 and 05:00.
The order shall come into operation on 27th July 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
