The London Borough Of Barking And Dagenham (Waiting Restrictions) (Buller Road And Hulse Avenue, Barking) Amendment No. * Order 202
Notice Is Hereby Given* that the Council of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in exercise of its powers under sections 6, 32, 33, 35 and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (hereinafter called "the Act") and of all other enabling legislation and powers and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act propose to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to:
1. Amend the existing "No Waiting at any time" restrictions at the following locations along the new kerb layout:
a. Buller Road, south-east side, from its junction with Wilmington Gardens for 13.6 metres in a north-easterly direction.
b. Buller Road, north-west side, from its junction with Wilmington Gardens for 13.4 metres in a north-easterly direction.
c. Buller Road, south-east side, from its junction with Hulse Avenue for 24.5 metres in a south-westerly direction.
d. Buller Road, north-west side, from its junction with Hulse Avenue for 8.6 metres in a south-westerly direction.
e. Hulse Avenue, south-west side, from its junction with Buller Road for 9 metres in a north-westerly direction.
f. Hulse Avenue, south-west side, from its junction with Buller Road for 10.2 metres in a south-easterly direction.
g. Hulse Avenue, south-east side, from its junction with Salisbury Avenue for 8 metres in a north-westerly direction.
h. Salisbury Avenue, north-west side, from its junction with Hulse Avenue for 10 metres in a south-westerly direction.
i. Wilmington Gardens, north-east side, from its junction with Buller Road for 12.7 metres in a north-westerly direction.
j. Wilmington Gardens, north-east side, from its junction with Buller Road for 12.8 metres in a south-easterly direction.
2. Amend the existing "No Loading at any time" restrictions at the following locations along the new kerb layout:
a. Buller Road, south-east side, from its junction with Hulse Avenue for 24.5 metres in a south-westerly direction.
b. Buller Road, north-west side, from its junction with Hulse Avenue for 8.6 metres in a south-westerly direction.
c. Hulse Avenue, south-west side, from its junction with Buller Road for 9 metres in a north-westerly direction.
d. Hulse Avenue, south-west side, from its junction with Buller Road for 10.2 metres in a south-easterly direction.
Barking and Dagenham hereby GIVES FURTHER NOTICE in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 90A-90F of the Highways Act 1980 as amended (and of all other enabling powers and in accordance with the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 as amended and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis intends to construct the following traffic calming measures:
a. 75mm (raised top speed hump) across the entire carriageway width at the following locations:
i. Buller Road, at a point 43.8 metres north-east of its junction with Wilmington Gardens for a distance of 3.7 metres in a north-easterly direction.
ii. Buller Road, at a point 89.8 metres north-east of its junction with Wilmington Gardens for a distance of 3.7 metres in a north-easterly direction.
iii. Buller Road, at a point 52.4 metres south-west of its junction with Hulse Avenue for a distance of 3.7 metres in a south-westerly direction.
iv. Hulse Avenue, at a point 15.2 metres north-west of its junction with Salisbury Avenue for a distance of 3.7 metres in a north-westerly direction.
v. Hulse Avenue, at a point 94.4 metres north-west of its junction with Salisbury Avenue for a distance of 3.7 metres in a north-westerly direction.
