ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U3080 LEE AVENUE SHILBOTTLE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3080 Lee Avenue from its junction with Grange Road closed for its entirety in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 14th August 2025 until the 15th February 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 14th August 2025 until the 19th August 2025 between the hours of 08: 00 until 16: 00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 15th February 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C95, U3076, U3080 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

B6343 MITFORD TO MORPETH MITFORD
C146 HIGH HOUSE ROAD MORPETH
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER NO 2 2025)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular and pedestrian traffic on the following sections of roads and footway as described below in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 11th August 2025 until the 29th April 2026.
Road Closures:
B6343 Mitford to Morpeth from its junction with High House Road for a distance of 86 metres in a westerly direction.
It is expected that the road will be closed from the 18th August 2025 until the 1st April 2026 at all times during this period.
B6343 Mitford to Morpeth from its junction with High House Road for a distance of 29 metres in an easterly direction.
It is expected that the road will be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 1st April 2026 at all times during this period.
C146 High House Road from its junction with the B6343 Mitford to Morpeth for a distance of 143 metres in a south-westerly direction.
It is expected that the road will be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 1st April 2026 at all times during this period, however, the order will remain in place until the 29th April 2026.
Alternative routes will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6343, C154, B6524, B1337, A192 and vice versa
Footway Closure:
B6343 Mitford to Morpeth from its junction with High House Road for a distance of 86 metres in a westerly direction.
There is no alternative route for pedestrian traffic and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for full repair to landslip including bored piling works and concrete structural slab. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
B6345 EAST THIRSTON TO ACKLINGTON EAST THIRSTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6345 East Thirston To Acklington from its junction with the C117 Widdrington Station Junction To The Brocks Junction for a distance of 607 metres in a north-easterly then southeasterly direction in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 28th July 2025 until the 28th January 2026.
It is expected that the road will be closed from the 28th July 2025 until the 18th August 2025 between the hours of 08: 00 and 16: 00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 28th January 2026.
The work will be carried out in weather dependant phases: Civils 28/07/2025 to 08/08/2025 and Resurfacing 11/08/2025 to 18/08/2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6345, C107, C117 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for carriageway resurfacing and associated works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C124 ULGHAM LANE LONGHIRST
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NO.2 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C124 Ulgham Lane Longhirst from its junction with U6099 The Croft for a distance of 170 metres in a southerly direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 4th August 2025 until the 5th September 2025.
It is expected that the road will be closed at all times from the 4th August 2025 until the 22nd August 2025 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 5th September 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C124, C125, B1337, C124 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by United Living Infrastructure Services to excavate in the road to install and connect a water main. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

U3138 U3140 QUEEN STREET BACK LANE AMBLE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3138 U3140 Queen Street Back Lane Amble from its junction with C99 heading in a south westerly direction for a length of 45 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 28th July 2025 until the 8th August 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 28th July 2025 until the 1st August 2025 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 8th August 2025.
There is no alternative route available.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
PARISH OF STANNINGTON PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBER 34
(TEMPORARY PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Stannington Public Footpath Number 34, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:-
From a point 175 metres south-east of Moor Farm on the west side of the East Coast Main Line Railway in a general north-easterly and northerly direction for a distance of 130 metres, crossing the East Coast Main Line Railway to a point on the east side of the East Coast Main Line Railway, 240 metres south of Station Road, Stannington Station.
There is no alternative route.
The Order is to be effective from the 31st July 2025 until the 31st January 2026.

The closure has been requested by Network Rail in the interests of public safety to carry out urgent work to the railway embankment at the railway bridge.

U3138 TURNER STREET, AMBLE
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force:
Temporary Road Closure:
To temporarily prohibit the use of vehicular traffic on a length of highway, the U3138 Turner Street from its junction with Amble Town Centre Car Park 132 heading in a westerly direction for a length of 35 metres (“the Road”) in the County of Northumberland to construct a new manhole cover and due to a pollution risk
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the Order is in force being via Turner Street, North Street, Church Street, Bridge Street and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
The temporary road closure was requested by Northumbrian Water due to a pollution risk, and a new manhole cover needs to be constructed.

C84 PLAYWELL ROAD, GLANTON
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force:
Temporary Road Closure:
To temporarily prohibit the use of vehicular traffic on a length of highway, being the C84 Playwell Road Glanton from its junction with the A697 heading in a south easterly direction for a length of 790 metres (“the Road”) in the County of Northumberland following a substantial amount of sand being on the road which had been caused by flooding.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the Order is in force being via the A697, the C85 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
The temporary road closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to clear a substantial amount of sand on the road which has been caused by continuous flooding and to avoid the carriageway narrowing and reducing friction for road users.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council propose to make the above- The effect of the Order, if made, will be to introduce new off-street car park restrictions in Wooler in named Order under Sections 32 and 35 and Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic the County of Northumberland by amending the Northumberland County Council Off Street Parking
Regulation Act 1984, and the Traffic Management Act 2004. Places Composite Order 2014 (the Principal Order).
