Edgarley Road - Temporary Closure For Drainage Works

Temporary Closure of Edgarley Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Edgarley Road - from the junction with Ashwell Lane to the junction with Wick Lane. A total distance of 730 metres.
This Order will enable Kier to carry out drainage works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 24th July 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 28th July 2025 and last until 22nd August 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 (road will be reopened on the 9th and 10th of August to accommodate an event) for a total of 24 days.
