Temporary Closure of Stringfellow Crescent
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Stringfellow Crescent - from 33 metres north of the junction with Chesterfield, north eastwards for a distance of 147 metres; and Stringfellow Close - from the junction with Stringfellow Crescent for its entirety. A total distance of 185 metres.
This Order will enable EJC Contract Ltd to lay duct and chambers for fibre installation on behalf of Nexifibre.
The Order becomes effective on 24th July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 30th July 2025 and last until 12th August 2025 between the hours of 08:00 to 19:00 weekdays and 08:00 to 18:00 weekends for a total of 14 days.
