Temporary Closure of Somerton Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Somerton Road - from the junction with Somerton Road Roundabout to the junction with Esmonde Drive. A total distance of 149 metres.
This Order will enable Avonline Network Services Ltd to carry out cabling works on behalf of Gigaclear.
The Order becomes effective on 24th July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 30th July 2025 and last until 30th July 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
