Belmont Street - Temporary Road Closure A New Customer Connection
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE BELMONT STREET, SWADLINCOTE
WHEN: 29 July to 01 August 2025
WHERE: Belmont Street, Swadlincote from its Jct. with Drayton Street for an approx. distance of 57m in a south westerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate a new customer connection.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Church Street, A514 Civic Way and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
