Temporary Closure of Broadway
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Broadway - from the junction with Oakfield Road to the junction with Portland Road. A total distance of 334 metres.
This Order will enable Kier to carry out jetting works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 24 July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 31 July 2025 and last until 31 July 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 for a total of 9 hours.
