Buckford Lane - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Carriageway Patching/resurfacing

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL 

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE 

BUCKFORD LANE, FINDERN 

WHEN: 27 July to 29 July 2025 

WHERE: Buckford Lane, Findern from its jct. with Frizams Lane, for an approx. distance of 409m west. 

REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching/resurfacing. 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Frizams Lane, A5132 Twyford Road, B5008 Canal Bridge, Findern Lane, Willington Road, Heath Lane and vice versa.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. 

The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. 

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
