Temporary Closure of Barton Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Barton Road - from 29 metres of the junction with Webbington Road, northwards for a total distance of 71 metres.
This Order will enable Kier to carry out drainage works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 24th July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 28th July 2025 and last until 1st August 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
