Coal Lane, Hartshorne - Temporary Road Closure For Carriageway Patching / Resurfacing
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE COAL LANE, HARTSHORNE
WHEN: 25 July to 29 July 2025.
WHERE: Coal Lane, Hartshorne from its jct. with B5006 Derby Road for an approx. distance of 556m west.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching / resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A514: Ticknall Road; Scaddows Lane; Burton Road, B5006: High Street; Ashby Road; Derby Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
