Roemead Road - Temporary Closure To Jetting Works

What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Roemead Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Roemead Road - from the junction with Bristol Road, north-westwards for a total distance of 473 metres. 

This Order will enable Keir to carry out Jetting works on behalf of Somerset Highways.

The Order becomes effective on 24th July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 28th July 2025 and last until 28th July 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 for a total of 9 hours.
