Cheddar Moor Road - Temporary Closure To Masonry Repairs

Temporary Closure of Cheddar Moor Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Cheddar Moor Road - from the junction with Hythe Lane, south-eastwards for a total distance of 30 metres.
This Order will enable Walters to carry out masonry repairs on behalf of Somerset Bridges and Structures.
The Order becomes effective on 7th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th August 2025 and last until 22nd August 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 12 days.
