Stoke Street - Temporary Closure To Jetting Works

Temporary Closure of Stoke Street
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Stoke Street - from 47 metres north east of the junction with Millway, north-eastwards for a total distance of 47 metres.
This Order will enable Kier to carry out jetting works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 24th July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 1st August 2025 and last until 1st August 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 for a total of 9 hours.
