Trent Lane - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Repairs to Water Apparatus
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
TRENT LANE, NEWTON SOLNEY
WHEN: 14 August 2025
WHERE: Trent Lane, Newton Solney from its Jct. with Blacksmith's Lane for an approx. distance of 50m south.
REASON: To facilitate repairs to water apparatus.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B5008 Main Street, Newton Lane, Blacksmiths Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
