NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Woodpecker Close from a point approximately 15m northeast of its junction with Finch Close, for a distance of approximately 65m in a north easterly direction from Monday 4th August 2025 until Monday 18th August 2025.
NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Gas main replacement).

July until 6am on Sunday 27th. July 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Red Hill, Hard Lane, Union Street, Thorpe Road, Manor Road and vice versa.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along that part of Public Footpath No.1 Herringthorpe commencing from a point at Grid Reference SK 4473 9437 and proceeding in a south westerly direction for a distance of 135m to a point at Grid Reference SK 4460 9430 from Monday 4th. August until Friday 12th. September 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order will be via footways parallel to the definitive route.
Reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath (modifications on the existing sewage pipeline).

NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes will be via local neighbouring streets. The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Carriageway resurfacing).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the five parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice for periods of time between Monday 4th. August and Monday 1st. September 2025. Not all of the roads will be closed at the same time.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Gas main renewals).
SCHEDULE
(i) Heron Hill between its junction with The Chase and its junction with Church Lane (the alternative route will be via All Saints Way, The Chase and vice versa).
(ii) Church Lane from its junction with All Saints Way to a point approximately 20m south of its junction with Heron Hill (the alternative route will be via All Saints Way, The Chase, Heron Hill and vice versa).
(iii) All Saints Way from its junction with Church Lane to a point approximately 10m north of its junction with Haddon Way (the alternative route will be via The Chase, Heron Hill, Church Lane and vice versa).

The prohibition from proceeding along Swinston Hill Gardens will be from Monday 15th. September until Monday 29th. September 2025. The prohibition from proceeding along Stoneleigh Close and Rowernfields will be from Monday 22nd. September until Monday 6th. October 2025.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Gas main renewals).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily suspend part of The Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Speed Limits and Speed Derestriction) (Consolidation) Order 2004 and reduce the speed limit from 60 miles hour to 40 miles per hour for motor vehicles travelling along that part of Hague Lane from its junction with B6089 Cortworth Lane for a distance of approximately 550m in a southerly direction on Thursday 7th August 2025
between 7pm and 11pm.
The reason for the speed limit order is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Safety of site personnel whilst undertaking telecommunications works).
