Herries Road South, Penistone Road - Temporary Prohitibion of driving order

What is happening?

SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL (STOPPING RESTRICTIONS, WAITING
RESTRICTIONS, LOADING RESTRICTIONS & PARKING PLACES) (MAP
SCHEDULE) ORDER 2024 (AMENDMENT NO.23) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 24 July 2025 Sheffield City Council made the above Orders which comes into operation on 28 July 2025 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:
- No waiting at any time on parts of Herries Road South, Penistone Road North and Saw Works Way
- No loading at any time on parts of Herries Road South, Penistone Road North and Penistone Road North Unnamed Access Road to retail store
And remove:
- No waiting at any time on parts of Herries Road, Herries Road South and
Penistone Road North
- No waiting Monday to Fridays 07.30am to 9.30am and 4.00pm to 6.30pm on parts of Penistone Road North
No loading Monday to Fridays 7.30am to 9.30am and 4.00pm to 6.30pm on parts of Herries Road South and Penistone Road North

or examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 28 July 2025 make application for that purpose to the High Court.
