M1 Motorway Eastbound, Craigavon
The Department for Infrastructure, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 7(1)
and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 has made a provision
imposing a 50 miles per hour speed limit and prohibition of overtaking on the carriageway of:
M1 Motorway Eastbound, Craigavon, from 385m East of B2 Charlestown Road over-bridge to
150m East of U1130 Boconnell Lane over-bridge.
For a period of 2 Weeks, commencing on Friday 25 July 2025 until Friday 08 August 2025,
being satisfied that traffic should be restricted because resurfacing works are being or are
proposed to be executed on or near M1 Motorway Eastbound, Craigavon.

Westbound on-slip, Craigavon
The Department for Infrastructure, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 7(1)
and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 has made a provision
imposing a 50 miles per hour speed limit and prohibition of overtaking on the carriageway of:
M12 Eastbound and M1 Junction 11 Westbound On-slip, Craigavon, from 850m before
Ballynacor Interchange Roundabout (on M12 Eastbound) to 90m after Ballynacor Interchange
Roundabout (on M1 Junction 11 Westbound On-slip).
For a period of 2 Weeks, commencing on Friday 25 July 2025 until Friday 08 August 2025,
being satisfied that traffic should be restricted because resurfacing works are being or
are proposed to be executed on or near M12 Eastbound and M1 Junction 11 Westbound
On-slip, Craigavon.
Temporary Closing of Roads
A4 Dungannon Road, A4 Moy Road
Roundabout, A4 Charles Street, and A4
Corcrain Road, Portadown.
Notice is hereby given that the Department for Infrastructure in its capacity as Road Authority
and acting in pursuance of its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern
Ireland) Order 1997 has temporarily prohibited the use of 2070 metres of the above-named
roads to through traffic, from 100m North West of their junction with C162 Drumcree Road
to their junction with B77 West Street, through the night from 19:00 to 06:00 each night,
commencing on Monday 28 July 2025 until Saturday 23 August 2025 (Roads will be open
during Saturday and Sunday nights).
[Please note that lane closures will also be in place on parts of the above-named roads from
09:30 to 16:30 daily, commencing on Monday 28 July 2025 until Friday 12 September 2025.]
Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
This closure is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing work by DFI Roads.
Alternative diversion routes will be signed as follows:
Diversion Route 1 - A4 Dungannon Road, A4 Birches Roundabout, M1 Motorway, M12
Ballynacor Interchange, M12 Motorway, A3 Kernan Loop, A3 Northway and A4 Corcrain Road.
Diversion Route 2 - B28 Moy Road, B131 Teagy Road, B131 Derrycoose Road, B131
Blackisland Road, M1 Motorway, M12 Ballynacor Interchange, M12 Motorway, A3 Kernan
Loop, A3 Northway and A4 Corcrain Road.
Traffic prohibited from using the M1 Motorway – Please find an alternative route.
Temporary Closing of Roads
A0027 Lurgan Road, Portadown

Notice is hereby given that the Department for Infrastructure in its capacity as Road Authority
and acting in pursuance of its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern
Ireland) Order 1997 has temporarily prohibited the use of 910 metres of the above named road
to through traffic, one-way closure from Birch Hill to Church Road continuous, commencing on
Monday 21 July 2025 until Monday 25 August 2025.
Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
This closure is to facilitate the construction of new Carriageway widening.
An alternative route will be signed with traffic being diverted via:
A27 Lurgan Rd, B0002 Seagoe Rd, U1361 Kernan Rd.
