Notice is hereby given that the above named Order made by
City of Doncaster Council on the 8th day of May 2025 which
came into force on the 12th day of May 2025 has been
continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State
for Transport under section 15(3) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 up to and including the 1st
day of November 2025. The Order would otherwise have
expired on the 1st day of August 2025.
The Order was made to ensure the safety of the public and
the workforce whilst cycleway scheme works are undertaken.
Reason for the extension of the temporary order is due to
contractual delays in starting the works, materials
procurement, consultation with new ward members and
affected businesses -specifically Aardagh Glass.

The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the whole
width of that section of public footpath No.11 Barnby Dun
(Part) as described in the schedule below.
