NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends within 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 the effect of which:

Market Hill, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1071 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Market Hill, Cambridge as lies between Trinity Street & Sidney Street. The alternative route for vehicles is via Senate House Hill; Kings Parade; Trumpington St; Trumpington St C294; Pembroke St; Downing St; St Andrews St; Gonville Pl, Parkside; Parker St; Emmanuel St; St Andrews St; Sidney St. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate mobile crane to lift steels & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 7/9/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 6/3/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 19:00hrs & 05:00hrs 7/9 to 9/9/25.

Owlstone Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1221 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Owlstone Road, Cambridge as lies between Grantchester Street & Owlstone Croft. The alternative route for vehicles is via Grantchester St; Owlstone Croft & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical duct installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 19/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 18/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 19/8 & 2/9/25.

Horseheath Road C242, Linton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1223 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Horseheath Road C242, Linton as lies between 30 meters east, south & west from junction Horseheath Road & Michaelotts. The alternative route for vehicles is via Bartlow Rd; A1307 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway improvements, kerb construction & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 11/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 10/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:00hrs & 20:30hrs 11/8 to 22/8/25.

Castle Street C290, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1224 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Castle Street C290, Cambridge as lies between Whymans Lane & Castle Row. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1134; A1307; A1134; A1303; Castle St C290 or via Castle St C290; A1303; Croft Holme Ln; A1134; A1307; A1134. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 4/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 3/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4/8 & 5/8/25.

Newmarket Road, Cambridge Temporary No Right Turn Order 2025-1225
Is to stop any vehicle from turning right from Newmarket Road A1134, Cambridge in to Barnwell Road A1134, Cambridge. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1303. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water main repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 18/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 17/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 18/8 & 29/8/25.

Middle Watch, Swavesey Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1226 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Middle Watch, Swavesey as lies between Chapel & Gibraltar Lane. The alternative route for vehicles is via Middle Watch, High St, Station Rd (C186), Over Rd, Station Rd, New Rd, West St, Longstanton Rd, Gravel Bridge Rd, Over Rd (C191), Ramper Rd, Boxworth End & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 26/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 25/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 26/8 & 29/8/25.

Brunswick Terrace, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1227 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Brunswick Terrace, Cambridge as lies between Maid Causeway & Brunswick Gardens. The alternative route for vehicles is via Brunswick Terrace, Brunswick Gardens, Maids Causeway & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate stop tap installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 11/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 10/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 11/8 & 13/8/25.

Station Road East, Whittlesford Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1229 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road East, Whittlesford as lies between No.43 & Cambridgeshire Highways Depot. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate parking bay installation, lining & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 18/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 17/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 18/8 & 22/8/25.

Perne Road A1134, Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Cycle Lane – Order 2025-1238 
Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between Brookfields & Cherry Hinton Road. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area E (Consolidation) Order 1993 Schedule 23 – Cycle lane Part 2 – Mandatory with-flow cycle lane Perne Road – On both sides of the carriageway from its junction with Brookfields to its junction with Cherry Hinton Road is hereby suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate traffic signal refurbishment & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 18/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 17/2/27 whichever is the earlier. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Perne Road A1134, Cambridge are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 18/8 & 22/8/25.

Balsham Road B1052 & High Street, Linton Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1241 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Balsham Road B1052 & High Street, Linton as lies between Back Road & High Street; Balsham Road B1052 & Parsonage Way respectively. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1052; Cambridge Rd, Balsham; A11; A1307; B1052 & vice versa; Bartlow Rd; A1307; B1052 & vice versa respectively. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate drainage installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 11/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 10/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 11/8 & 29/8/25.

Trafalgar Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic & Temporary Revocation Of No Entry Traffic Order – Order 2025-1242 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Trafalgar Road, Cambridge as lies between A1303 & Trafalgar Street. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area A (Consolidation) Order 1993, Schedule 16 – No entry, Part 1 – Roads & parts of roads to which entry for all vehicles is prohibited at the location & from the direction stated. Trafalgar Street – At its junction with Victoria Avenue from all direction is hereby suspended. The alternative route for vehicles is via Victoria Ave; A1303 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 26/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 25/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs & 18:00hrs 26/8/25.

Lug Fen Droveway, Lode Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1245 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Lug Fen Droveway, Lode as lies between Mill Drove & Fen Road. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 25/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 24/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs & 18:00hrs 25/8 to 5/9/25.

Grange Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1251 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Grange Road, Cambridge as lies between A1303 & Clarkson Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1303; A1134; West Rd; Grange Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas main replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 18/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 17/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 18/8 & 5/9/25.

High Street A1309, Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Cycle Lane – Order 2025-1277 
Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between Wingate Way & Alpha Terrace. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area G (Consolidation) Order 1993, Schedule 23 Cycle Lanes Part 2 Mandatory with flow cycle lane. High Street, Trumpington on the eastern side from a point 50 metres north of its junction with Wingate Way to its junction with Alpha Terrace in a southerly direction is hereby suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 25/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 24/2/27 whichever is the earlier. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on High Street A1309, Cambridge are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 21:00hrs 25/8 & 06:00hrs 26/8/25.

Trinity Lane, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1291 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Trinity Lane, Cambridge as lies between Trinity Street & Trinity College Gates. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate scaffolding erection & removal for building maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 4/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 3/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4/8 & 1/9/25.

Pierce Lane, Fulbourn Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1296 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Pierce Lane, Fulbourn as lies between The Haven & Town Close. The alternative route for vehicles is via Pierce Ln; Apthorpe St; Cow Ln & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 11/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 10/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 11/8 & 15/8/25.

Woodfield Lane, Cambourne Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1297 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Woodfield Lane, Cambourne as lies between Merle Way & Medlar Lane. The alternative route for vehicles is via Woodfield Ln, School Ln & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate sewer repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 11/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 10/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 11/8 & 15/8/25.

Airport Way; Gazelle Way & Cherry Hinton Road C233, Teversham Temporary 50mph, 40mph & 30mph Speed Limit – Order 2025-1300 
Is to impose a 50mph, 40mph & 30mph speed limit along Airport Way, Gazelle Way & Cherry Hinton Road C233, Teversham as lies between A1303 & Cherry Hinton Road C233; Tamarin Gardens & Saffron Way; Airport Way & Saffron Way respectively. The Order will be effective, for safety purposes, when signs are in place indicating the speed limit along the whole or any part of the above mentioned length of road whilst works are in progress or temporarily suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical ducting, cabling & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 12/08/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 11/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 12/8 & 26/9/25.

Bythorn Road, Covington Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1305 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Bythorn Road, Covington as lies between Grange Farm & Woodland House. The alternative route for vehicles is via Bythorn Rd; Keyston Rd; Covington Rd; B645; B663; Covington Rd, Keystone; Mickle Hill; Covington Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate cover, frame repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 20/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 19/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20/8 & 22/8/25.

City Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1306 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along City Road, Cambridge as lies between Paradise Street & Fitzroy Street. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate sewer repair & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 11/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 10/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 11/8 & 22/8/25.

Fulbourn Old Drift, Teversham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1309 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Fulbourn Old Drift, Teversham as lies between Berwick Primary School & Gazelle Way; Kelsey Crescent & Welstead Road respectively. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical duct installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 4/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 3/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4/8 & 6/10/25.

Fen End, Willingham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1312 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Fen End, Willingham as lies between No.31 & Tempus Court. The alternative route for vehicles is via Fen Ed; B1050; Church St; Rockmill Ed; Wilford Furlong & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate vegetation removal & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 21/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 20/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:00hrs & 16:00hrs 21/8/25.

Button End, Harston Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2025-1316 
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Button End, Harston as lies between Hope Cottage & Willows. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 18/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 17/2/27 whichever is the earlier. During the period this Order remains in force The County of Cambridgeshire (Cambridge Road & High Green, Great Shelford) (Mandatory with-flow Cycle Lane) Order 1993, Schedule – Lengths of road or sides of road in the District of South Cambridgeshire Parish of Great Shelford, Mandatory with-flow Cycle Lane Cambridge Road: Northeast side, from its junction with Shelford Road, Cambridge, south-eastward to a point 83 metres southeast of its junction with Westfield Road, & from a point 268 metres southeast of its junction with Westfield Road, south-eastward to its junction with Davey Crescent, Great Shelford. Southwest side, from its junction with Davey Crescent, Great Shelford, north-westward to a point 268 metres southeast of its junction with Westfield Road, & from a point 83 metres southeast of its junction with Westfield Road, north-westward to its junction with Shelford Road, Cambridge is hereby suspended. Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Shepreth as lies between Moor End Lane & Huttles Lane. The alternative route for vehicles is via Fowlmere Rd; A10; Frog End & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 21/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 20/7/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:00hrs & 17:00hrs 21/8 to 22/8/25.

Footpath Between Brinkman Road & Hollybush Way, Linton Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2025-1325 
Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Footpath Between Brinkman Road & Hollybush Way, Linton as lies between Brinkman Road & Hollybush Way. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 27/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 26/2/26 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 27/8 & 1/9/25.

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between Walden Way & Hobsons Acre. Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Church Street, Great Shelford as lies between No.47 & Old School Court. The alternative route for vehicles is via Bridge Ln, Little Shelford; Church St; Hauxton Rd; Newton Rd; Shelford Rd, Harston; B1368; A10; A1309; Addenbrookes Rd, Cambridge; A1301; High St & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of priority feature, bollards & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 4/8/25 & continue until these works have finished or on the 3/2/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4/8 & 15/8/25.
