EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (U43 Highfield Road, Fenwick) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025

On 22nd July 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to enable new ducting works for BT

Temporary Road Closure – U43 Highfield Road, Fenwick for an approximate distance of 1200m from its junction with A77.

The Order commences on 04 August 2025 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 04 August 2025 at 08:00 with the closure remaining in place until 12 August 2025 at 18:00.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.

An alternative route will be signed via U43 Highfield Road, B764, A77, U43 Highfield Road and vice versa.

EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (Grassyards Road,Kay Park Crescent, Kay Park Service Road,South Dean Road,Strawberrybank Road, Kilmarnock) (Kay Park Play Day)(Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2025

On 22 July 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow an event Kay Park Play Day.

Road Closure – Kay Park Crescent,Kay Park Service Road

Kay Park Crescent - From Junction of Grassyards Road to Junction Of Strawberrybank Road - (Resident Access only)

Kay Park Service Road - From Strawberrybank Road Southwards for towards Burns Monument Centre - (Resident Access only)

Strawberrybank Road - From Junction of Townholm to the Junction Of Grassyards Road - No Waiting Both Sides (Except for Resident Permits)

South Dean Road - From Junction of Strawberrybank Road Northwards for 150mtrs - No Waiting Both Sides

Kay Park Service Road - From Strawberrybank Road Southwards for 150mtrs towards Burns Monument Centre

Grassyards Road - From Junction of McKenzie Drive Towards the Entrance of St Joseph`s School

The Order commences on 06 August 2025.

The Event is expected to commence from 06 August 2025 at 00:01 until 06 August 2025 at 23:01.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

On 22 July 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow D In the Park - Gala Day.

Road Closure – Mill of Shield Road, Drongan From No.128 to No.26

No Waiting At Any Time – Mill of Shield Road, Drongan From No.128 to No.26 both sides of road

The Order commences on 16 August 2025. The event is expected to commence from 16 August 2025 at 00:01 until 16 August 2025 at 23:59.

The Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected.

Access for residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.

An alternative route is - 1 Mill of Shield Road, Coyle Avenue, Coronation Road, Millmannoch Avenue, Carston Drive, Mill of Shield Road 2 Mill of Shield Road, Carston Drive, Millmanoch Avenue, Coronation Road, Coyle Avenue, Mill of Shield Road 3 Mill of Shield Road, Hannahston Avenue, Drumwhill Road, Mill of Shield Road 4 Mill of Shield Road, Drumwhill Road, Hannahston Avenue, Mill of Shield Road.

SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (Wilson Street, Girvan) (Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2025

On 17 July 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow BT Works.

Road Closure – For 20m South of junction Wilson Place

No Waiting At Any Time – Wilson Street – For 20m South of junction Wilson Place both sides of road.

The Order commences on 04 August 2025 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 04 August 2025 at 08:00 until 13 August 2025 at 17:00.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained when possible and safe to do so.

An alternative route - via Duncan Street - Greenside - Ailsa Street West.

SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (Berelands Road , Prestwick) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025

On 17 July 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Scottish Water Works.

Temporary Road Closure – Berelands Road, Prestwick, For 36m from No.9 to No.1

The Order commences on 11 August 2025 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 11 August 2025 at 08:00 with the closure remaining in place until 20 August 2025 at 23:59.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Access for Emergency Services,residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.

An alternative route will be signed via Caerlaverock Road, Meiklewood Avenue, Weir Avenue and vice versa.

SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL (C122, Maybole) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025

On 17 July 2025 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order,to allow BT Works.

Temporary Road Closure – C122 , Maybole
From a point 130m north of junction with C60 - Northbound for 3km

The Order commences on 12 August 2025 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 12 August 2025 at 07:00 until 25 August 2025 at 19:00.

The road is expected to be closed between 07:00 and 19:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.

An alternative route will be signed via C122, B7024, C60 and vice versa.
