New Forest, Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closure due to Pole Renewal and Tree Cutting

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –

ROAD FROM FROGHAM CROSS TO HYDE (BLISSFORD HILL), HYDE, NEW FOREST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED:

That part of Road from Frogham Cross to Hyde (Blissford Hill) between its junction with Frogham Hill and its junction with Hyde Common.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:

Pentons Hill, Frogham Hill

DURATION OF ORDER:

From 8th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 08:30 – 15:30).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out pole renewal and tree cutting. If there are any queries or enquiries regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk 

Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
