Parchment Street, Temporary Road Closure Due To Utility Works

What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - PARCHMENT STREET, WINCHESTER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Parchment Street between its junction with St Georges Street and its junction with North Walls.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: St Georges Street, Jewry Street, North Walls.

DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 21st July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days and working between the hours 09:30-16:00).

The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for 4 Site Power & Fibre Networks to complete utility works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: office@4spfn.com
