The County of Cornwall (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
1. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order dated 21st July 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Trevelgue Road for its entire length and Road from Trevelgue Road to Junction East of Benn Park Newquay, Porth bean Road for its entire length, Access to higher Trewince for its entire length, Veor Road for its entire length, Duchy Avenue for its entire length, Penhallow Road for its entire length, the B3276 from its Junction with the A3058 to the Sands resort hotel, The A3059 from Nansledan Roundabout to 200m East of its junction with Carloggas Road, and Headland Road Newquay for its entire length as highlighted on the plans attached to this Order. While the Order is in operation, traffic,excluding pedestrian movement, along the highway specified in paragraph 1, will be temporarily prohibited.
2. The B3276 will be subject to a temporary 20mph speed restriction between grid reference SW 84210 64846 and grid reference SW 83308 63443 for a distance of approximately 2 kilometres as highlighted in pink on the plans attached to this Order.
3. The A3059 will be subject to a temporary 30mph speed restriction for a distance of 200metres East and West of the Treloy Access road junction, and for a distance of 200metres East and West from the junction with Carloggass Road as highlighted pink on the plans attached to this order.
4. The Road from Junction South East of Benn Park to Access to Aerohub 2 will be subject to a temporary 30mph speed restriction for its entire length for a distance of approximately 1.45 kilometres as highlighted in pink on the plans attached to this Order
5. No left turn orders will be implemented at the junction of Rialton Road with the A3059, and at the junction of Priory Road with the A3059 as indicated on the plans attached to this order.
6. A one way Restriction prohibiting the movement of East Bound Traffic will be in place on the A3059 between the junction with Rialton Road and the entrance to Newquay Holiday Park as indicated by the solid Blue line on the plans attached to this plan.
7. The permanent no access restriction for westbound traffic at the junction of Rialton Road and the A3059 will be temporarily suspended.
8. An access only restriction will be implemented on the A3059 between Nansledan Roundabout and the junction with Rialton Road, and on Rialton Road from the junction with the A3059 and its junction with the A3058 as indicated in orange on the plans attached to this order.
9. The Order shall come into operation on 5th August 2025 at 06:00 and shall remain in force until 12th August 2025 at 18:00, however, this order can be extended by the Secretary of State for Transport. The event is expected to be completed by the 12th August 2024.
10. The prohibitions and restrictions will be in force from 0600 hours on the 5th August 2025 and continue unti118:00 hours on the 12th August 2025, weekends included
11. The Council is satisfied that the order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public during Boardmasters Festival 2025.
Nothing in the Order will apply to:
a. Any police, fire brigade, ambulance or coastguard vehicle, or any personnel on official duty, or any vehicle or person authorised by and with the permission of Cornwall Council.
b. Any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitate the bringing of vehicles into the section of highway to which this order applies.
c. Vehicles used by delivery drivers, hotel guests and hotel staff requiring access to businesses and properties located on veor Road, Porth Bean Road, Trevelgue Road, Duchy Avenue, and Penhallow Road
d. Vehicles used by delivery drivers, hotel guests, hotel staff and visitors requiring access to businesses, properties and Little Fistral car park along Headland Road Newquay only
e. public transport accessing the full length of the A3059 in both directions.
f. Traffic associated with the event or under the direction of police or CSAS accredited personnel operating on behalf of Boardmasters.

Section 14(1) and Section 22(C) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
The County of Cornwall (Boardmasters, Newquay) (Schedule 1) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that, that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 21st July 2025 on the recommendation of the Chief Officer of Police for Devon and Cornwall and on it appearing to Cornwall Council that it is necessary to mitigate danger to the public or damage to the highway (from incidents) that may arise from the hosting of an event taking place at Newquay, the various closures as listed in this order are to be introduced as specified.
Roads affected —Watergate Road, Newquay between the junction of the Sands Resort Hotel and the junction of Tregurrian Hill and Headland Road, Newquay between the junction of Beacon Road and the entrance to the Headland Hotel and Car park.
The various measures imposed by this order will come into force at 0700 hours on Wednesday 6th August 2025 and will remain in force unti11500 hours on Monday 11th August 2025.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
The County of Cornwall (Leathern Bottle Hill, Michaelstow, Bodmin) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin. This prohibition is necessary for works to repair manhole cover and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd August 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.
Road affected - Leathern Bottle Hill, Michaelstow, Bodmin between property known as Churchtown Farmhouse and grid reference SX 08029 78782.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Whitewell Road To Allen Valley Road, St Teath, Bodmin) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin. This prohibition is necessary for new electric connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th August 2025 to 29th August 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - Road From Whitewell Road To Allen Valley Road, St Teath, Bodmin between properties known as Burg St and The Mowhay.
