Halebourne Lane (C7) Chobham - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order For New Electrical Connection Works

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 22 July 2025 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Halebourne Lane (C7) Chobham as extends from its junction with (C8) Windlesham Road to its junction with (X7) Blind Lane. Alternative Route – Halebourne Lane; Windlesham Road; Windsor Road; A319 High Street/Bagshot Road; and Halebourne Lane. This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 04 August 2025 is required to facilitate new electrical connection works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of SSEN within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over five days between the hours of 8am and 4pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access for residents, the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.
Sturt Road (B3411) Frimley Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Sturt Road (B3411) Frimley Green that is crossed under the bridge known as “Sturt Road (B3411) 2/99 BML1” and for a distance of 20 metres either side. Alternative Route: (B3411) Sturt Road, (B3012) Guildford Road, (B3012) Gapemouth Road, Tunnel Hill Road, Mytchett Place Road, (B3411) Mytchett Road, and (B3411) Sturt Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate repairs to damaged cabling works for, or on behalf of BLU-3 (UK) Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 7 days, between the hours of 7am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 18 August 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. No sole access will be affected by this closure.
