New Road and Load Pool, Othery - Temporary Road Closures due to Utility Works

Temporary Closure of New Road and Load Pool
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along New Road - from the junction with Townsend to the junction with Load Pool and Load Pool - from the junction with Fore Street to the junction with New Road. A total distance of 236 metres. This Order will enable RA Stacey to carry out poling and reconductoring works on behalf of National Grid.
The Order becomes effective on 22nd July 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 28th July 2025 and last until 31st July 2025 between the hours of 18:30 - 06:00 for a total of 3 nights.
