Alderholt Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Tree Pruning Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - ALDERHOLT ROAD (HARBRIDGE DROVE), ELLINGHAM, HARBRIDGE AND IBSLEY, NEW FOREST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Alderholt Road

(Harbridge Drove) between its junction with Kent Lane and its junction with Hamer Warren Quarry.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Verwood Road, A31, Station Road, B3078, Castle Street, Hare Lane, Cranborne Road, Daggons Road, Station Road, Hillbury Road, Harbridge Drove

DURATION OF ORDER: from 23rd July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:00 - 15:30).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Ground Control to carry out tree pruning. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: angela.bass@ground-control.co.uk

Ground Control will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
