Waterhouse Lane - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Site Connection Works
What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
WATERHOUSE LANE (PART) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Waterhouse Lane, from the junction with Myton Street outside Castle Buildings, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during site connection works for utilities and drainage to Castle Buildings and Earl De Grey.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 28th July 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 7am and 6pm commencing 28th July 2025 until 1st August 2025.
