What is happening?

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (ASHBROOK FARM CLOSE AND CRITERION STREET, REDDISH) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) NOTICE 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time: Criterion Street - East side from a point 6 metres North of the Northern kerb line of Ashbrook Farm Close in a Southerly direction to a point 10 metres South of the Southern kerb line of Ashbrook Farm Close, and Ashbrook Farm Close - North side from the Eastern kerb line of Criterion Street for a distance of 10 metres in an Easterly direction (to tie-in with the aforementioned), South side from the Eastern kerb line of Criterion Street for a distance of 54 metres in an Easterly direction (to tie-in with the aforementioned). Full details of these proposals are set out in the draft Order which, together with the map, may be obtained from Stockport Legal Services, Town Hall Stockport SK1 3XE. A copy of this Notice and the Plan can also be viewed on the Council’s website at https:// www.stockport.gov.uk/proposed -traffic-regulations-in-your area Any person wishing to object to this proposed Order should write, specifying their grounds for objection, to the undersigned (or by email to traffic@stockport.gov.uk) on or before 12 August 2025 quoting reference JO/9847125.
