What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES ONSLOW GARDENS
Northbound directional road closure
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intends to make an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR UTILITY WORKS.
Onslow Gardens to be closed Northbound from outside of number 61 to the junction of Old Brompton Road.
To be closed from 08.00hrs on Monday 4th August until 18.00hrs on Friday 15th August 2025, with a backup dates of Monday 11th August 2025 until Friday 22nd August, or until the works are completed.
Diverted through traffic may use Onslow Gardens, Cranley Gardens or Onslow Gardens, Old Brompton Road.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
