What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Maxwell Road, Beaconsfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Maxwell Road for approx. 26M.

Alternative route: Maxwell Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst development works commence on 11 August 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 11 August 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Ashmead Lane, Denham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Ashmead Lane for approx. 158M.

Alternative route: Ashmead Lane, Cheapside Lane, Village Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst ducting and chamber works commence on 25 August 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 August 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Bennett End Rd, Radnage) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bennett End Rd for approx. 174M.

Alternative route: Horseshoe Rd, Town End Rd, Bennett End Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach pole testing commences on 27 August 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 27 August 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Grove Ln, Ashley Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Grove Ln for approx. 92M.

Alternative route: Grove Ln, Rushmere Ln, Chesham Rd, Village Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water works commence on 20 August 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 20 August 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(King St, Chesham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in King St for approx. 36M.

Alternative route: Germain St, Watersideway, St Marys Way, Red Lion St, Amersham Rd, Moor Rd, Amy Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst UKPN works for new electric supply commence on 5 August 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5 August 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Radnage Common Rd, Radnage) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Radnage Common Rd for approx. 57M.

Access to be maintained for cyclists. The closure is required to enable access to chamber for gully works commencing on 18 August 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18 August 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Nags Head Ln, Great Missenden) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Nags Head Ln for approx. 69M.

Alternative route: Nags Head Ln, Windsor Ln, Heath End Rd, Copes Rd, Stag Ln, Missenden Rd, Peterley Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water relay short service pipe commences on 5 August 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5 August 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Watchet Ln, Little Kingshill) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Watchet Ln for approx. 1030M.

Alternative route: Watchet Ln, Spurlands End Rd, Heath End Rd, Windsor Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas mains replacement commences on 28 July 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 28 July 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Tilehouse Ln, Denham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Tilehouse Ln for approx 889M.

Alternative route: Tilehouse Way, Nightingale Way, Denham Green Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cityfibre access to chamber for testing rope/rod works commence on 4 August 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 August 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Dedmere Rd, Marlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Dedmere Rd for approx 134M.

Alternative route: Glade Rd, Little Marlow Rd, Newtown Rd, Dedmere Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas mains replacement works commence on 4 August 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 August 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

(Public Footpath No.132/1 Parish of High Wycombe) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath commencing at the junction of Footpath No’s HWU 132/1, 133/1 & 131/1 and continues in a southerly direction for approx. 186M to the junction of the footpath.

The closure is required to enable the hosting of the CPSA World Championship in the interest of public safety. Alternative route is via HWU 128/1-WWY 24/1 or HWU 119/1 – LAE 58/1 – PWE 10/1.

The Order will come into operation on 11 July 2025, as signed, with maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Public Footpath No’s 128/1, 126/1, 127/1 & 119/1, Parish of West Wycombe) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length commencing at the junction of WWY 23/1, WWY 21/1 & HWU 128/1 and continues south to the junction of HWU 119/1 and then continues south on HWU 119/1 for approximately 1700m.

HWU 126/1 & HWU 127/1 is also closed for the entire length. The closure is required to enable West Wycombe Estate to host the CPSA World Championships in Hellbottom Valley.

Alternative route is via existing footpaths and proposed route joining HWU 119/1 and HWU 117/1. The Order will come into operation on 11 July 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

(Public Footpath No. 103, Parish of Chesham) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath commencing at the junction of Lyndhurst Road & Chesham Footpath No. 103/1 and continues east for approx. 100M to the junction of Chesham Footpaths No’s. 103/1 & 103/2.

The closure is required whilst work is carried out for the installation of Telecoms Ducts and Chambers, in the interest of public safety. Alternative route is via signage.

The proposed Order will come into operation on 28 July 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
