What is happening?

BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER – FOX WAY, PORTSLADE

1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 16 July 2025 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:–

The following will be carried out in phases, and will only be in force as and when signed:

a) Phase 1

The temporary closure of Fox Way, from Harebell Drive to Langridge Drive

b) Phase 2

The temporary closure of Fox Way, from Langridge Drive to Henge Way

c) Phase 3

The temporary closure of Fox Way, from Thornhill Rise to its junction at Hangleton Lane

2. The Order is necessary to allow contractors carry out carriageway resurfacing works.

3. Pedestrian access will be maintained, and a signed diversion route will be in place for vehicular traffic.

4. This Order comes into force on 21 July 2025 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
