Devon County Council (South Hams HATOC) (Traffic Regulation) Amendment Order

Devon County Council propose to make this under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce in DOWN THOMAS: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Eddystone Road, Manor Bourne Road & Renney Road; KINGSBRIDGE: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Embankment Road; KINGSWEAR: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Ridley Hill; MARLDON: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Furzegood Road; PLYMPTON: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Barn Close, Eastern Wood Road, Eastern Wood Road Roundabout, Langage South Road, Meadow Close & Rowdown Close; STOKE FLEMING: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Hockey Fields & School Road; School Entrance Clearway–No Stopping Mon-Fri 8am-4pm on a specified length of Hockey Fields; STRETE: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Kingsbridge Road to Strete Bridleway 9; TOTNES: No Waiting At Any Time on specified lengths of Blackpost Lane; Residents Parking Mon-Sat 9am-6pm Zone B on a specified length of Westward Close; Revocation of Residents Parking (Zonal) Mon-Sat 9am-6pm Zone B on a specified length of Westward Close; Residents, charity business occupier, supported living, school business, motorcycle, scooter & other vehicles band A permits £35 annually, other vehicles bands B-K 1st permit £35, 2nd permit £55, 3rd permit £65; bands L-M 1st permit £35, extra permits £65; virtual visitor permit £30 per (200 hours for schemes not at all times/350 hours for schemes operating at all times in 1 hour sessions), physical daily visitor permits £30 for 30 (24 hour) permits, business permits annually: 1st £35, 2nd £75, 3rd £150; annual trade £45, short stay trade £60 for 20, daily trade £5, weekly trade £25; essential visitor permits £10 annually, care worker permits are free.

Where appropriate there will be the usual exemptions including those in relation to picking up/setting down passengers, loading/unloading goods & disabled persons vehicles.

Objections & other comments specifying the proposal & the grounds on which they are made must be in writing to the address below or via devon.cc/alwrp to arrive by 14 August 2025. Receipt of submissions may not be acknowledged but those received will be considered.

If you make a submission, be aware that comments will be anonymised prior to being sent to Highways & Traffic Orders Committee (HATOC) members for consideration or being published on our website.
